Using smart two-step social media advertising, we helped Securitas, Sweden's largest security company, find the best possible candidates for 1,500 summer jobs across Sweden. Through an innovative advertising strategy and attractive ads, the summer job advertising resulted in 1,445,263 ad views, 32,609 visits to Securitas' summer job page and 8,384 applications - 15% more applications than in 2021.

For more than 80 years, Securitas has managed one of Sweden's most important missions - to secure what needs to be protected and help people feel safe. As Sweden's largest employer in the security industry with approximately 10,000 employees, they are constantly looking for new colleagues who want to contribute to a safer society.

Solution
In order to reach as many potential top candidates as possible, Securitas opted for targeted job advertising in two stages on Sweden's largest social media platforms - Facebook & Instagram. Using our unique combination of data and interest-driven advertising, inspiring video ads were targeted to relevant candidates.
Step 1 – We built awareness that Securitas was looking for 1,300 summer workers
In the first stage of advertising, we built awareness that Securitas was looking for 1,300 summer workers and at the same time highlighted some of the best things about working at Securitas during the summer.
Step 2 – We invited interested candidates to apply
In the second stage of advertising, we re-advertised to those candidates who had shown interest in working for Securitas during the summer and invited them to apply for Securitas' summer job vacancies around Sweden.
Results
The summer job advertisement exceeded all expectations and resulted in 1,445,263 ad views, 32,609 visits to the Securitas summer job page and 8,384 applications - 15% more applications than in 2021 when the advertisement was done via another advertising partner.
